Consumer dispute resolution body of the European Union: With Regulation No. 524/2013, the European Union has set up a dispute resolution body for the online settlement of consumer disputes. The so-called OS platform serves as a central contact point for consumers and businesses who wish to settle disputes that fall within the scope of this regulation out of court. It is an interactive website that can be accessed electronically in all official languages of the European Union institutions; its use is free of charge.
