The last home game

The derby between Carl Zeiss Jena and Rot-Weiß Erfurt offered emotions and battle from the start. Jena took the lead in the 21st minute with a curious goal from Halili. The ball slipped through Erfurt goalkeeper Schellenberg's suspenders. Jena dominated the game and could have scored more before the break, but Erfurt was able to prevent worse.

After the break, Jena increased the lead to 2-0 in the 62nd minute after Erfurt was invited by a catastrophic cross pass from Zeller. Erfurt was able to reduce the deficit to 2-1 through Weinhauer (72nd), but Löder restored the old lead just two minutes later with another goal (74th).

In the final phase, there were unpleasant scenes when flares flew from the Erfurt block onto the Jena stands, which led to a long break. After the break, Jena confidently held on to the 3-1 victory and remained undefeated for the fifth time in a row. For Erfurt it was the sixth game without a win.
